Bridge for the Journey – March Issue Available!
It is my pleasure to introduce Bridge for the Journey, our new monthly publication at Living Waters Columbarium. Baptized in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, we acknowledge death as the culmination of our earthly journey and the transition to our eternal life in God. Living Waters Columbarium serves as a bridge for that journey. Uniquely situated within St. Gianna Beretta Molla Church, the columbarium is an extension of our living, praying community of faith – a ‘bridge’ between we, the living, and our beloved deceased. A vital flow of communication continues beyond death, as the prayers of the living come to the aid of the dead, and the beloved deceased support the living through God and the communion of saints.
As a Catholic cemetery, Living Waters Columbarium is a witness to our faith – the proclamation of the sacredness of the human body as a temple of the Holy Spirit, our belief in the resurrection, and a perpetual sign of consolation and hope. Our mission is to bridge the gap before, during and after the death of a loved one. Through our prayer, our participation in liturgical celebrations and our visits with the deceased, we express our hope that we shall one day be reunited in Christ with those whose names we have lovingly inscribed within the columbarium.
